Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) was established on May 29, 2006 after Xi’an Jiaotong University and the University of Liverpool signed a cooperative agreement to set up XJTLU on September 28, 2004. XJTLU primarily focuses on science, technology, engineering, architecture, and business, with a secondary focus on English language study. There are three campuses in XJTLU; North Campus, South Campus, and Taicang Campus. The campus is located in Suzhou Industrial Park, to the east of Suzhou’s historic centre. Suzhou Industrial Park, China’s equivalent of Silicon Valley and a hub of global innovation, houses a large cluster of Fortune 500 companies, transnational enterprises, and R&D centres, not only providing favourable conditions for XJTLU’s ongoing development but also numerous internship and job opportunities for XJTLU students.

Conference Venue, XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang) sets in Loujiang New Town, which with an area of 48.9 squre kilometers, is located south to Jiading District, Shanghai, at the conjunction of Shanghai-Nantong Railway and Southern Jiangsu High Speed Railway. Loujiang New Town is bond to become the gateway of Taicang to Shanghai, and servers as an important hub connecting neighboring cities, and also the frontier for the future development. According to the needs of the artificial intelligence and robotics era, XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang) aims to cultivate elites and leaders for new industries, facilitate the development of new technology for industries, and explore an innovative educational model and supportive system for high-end applied talents.

On 22 May, 2020, the University launched the XJTLU Learning Mall, a support platform that draws on first-rate global educational resources and integrates online and offline operations, creating a multi-faceted learning environment that spans across regions, age groups, level of education, and interests. Since its global launch, the XJTLU Learning Mall has welcomed its partners: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Apple, Microsoft, Huawei, Adobe, McGraw Hill, Cactus, Digital China, Skillshare, GAMI Institute (KIT China Branch), OpenLearning, LabXchange, and more.
